If someone is unconscious, they need an ambulance immediately. If you follow these steps carefully you could save a life whilst reducing the risk of police attending.

 
     
 
CHECK that the person is unconscious and not just asleep
Put them in the RECOVERY position
Call 999 and ask for an AMBULANCE
Tell the operator your LOCATION
... and that the person is unconscious
STAY CALM, do not shout or panic
STAY with the unconscious person until help arrives
